the pandora of shoes and bags

did i mentiont that i'm often a bit obsessed with bags and shoes? well now you know. i really am. a lot obsessed actually. i'm one of those people who will never have enough of either. but then again, who ever will? i'll start with shoes. i have a pair of silver sandals similar to these; mine are a bit different. i'm actually really tempted to buy these as well. they go with absolutely everything. silver is practially a neutral. i wear my with dresses, shorts, and even jeans if i'm feeling a bit more glam than usual. i found these little lovelies at Zappos, they're by Matiko Juju. they're $75, but so worth it. i swear, you'll wear these babies all the time. i know i do. next up, this fabulous Kate Spade bag. i turned sixteen back in february; i'll be getting a car this summer sometime, so my big present was this bag. mine is actually green leather, not black, but a) i couldn't find a good picture of the green one and b) i like the black just as much as green. i'm not sure where to find these now; they don't seem have them at Kate Spade's website. i know they go for around $250-$350, but i'm not quite sure. it's a fabulous bag though. it loaded with perfect pockets, and it's flipppin adorable to boot. that's all for now. i'm off to study for my chem final. did i mention that chemistry, and my teacher, are the biggest wasters of time in the world? well they are. keep the love coming. if you want to link trade, hit me up. i'll add those during my next study break. xo

the best are those that come and go

sometimes, the best things to buy are those that come and go quickly. i'm not talking about stuff that will be out in a mere month or two. i mean hello, how fast did avril-punk sweep in and out? thankfully, way fast. now i don't want to lump all my most recents finds in to one post...so here's a fab thing to start with. enter jcrew's woven straw beach tote. available online and in stores, but not for long. i recently picked one up for myself. the best thing about it: the trim is patent purple leather. amazing. not that you ever need an excuse to hit the pool or the beach, but sometimes all you need is a little extra incentive to go for it. not that i'm condoning risky behaivor or peer pressure, but sometimes a little pressure is all you need. in this case, the lite weight on shoulder as you tote your ipod, towel, and cover-up should do the trick. these pretty babies are going for $58, but have recently dropped down to only $34.50. could it get any sweeter? i think not. grab yours at Jcrew.com and in stores before this pretty little treat is gone.

just in case you were wondering

every summer i start a new fashion blog. every fall, i get so wrapped up in other stuff, i usually go MIA until next summer. not i haven't had any success with my other works. believe me, i have. but this summer is going to be different. way more fabulous, way more fun, and it's here to stay. the fun and fabulous-ness that is. just to give you a little bit of an idea about me. after all, i am the one writing this, and you'll better understand everything if you know me a little bit more. i dance and run track; i love rain and chocolate and avacados. not together, obviously. my name is Hillary, but for simplicity's sake, i'll go by Hill. short and sweet. can't be beat. i'm here to bring you, my lovely readers and friends, my take on all thats hot and juicy for summer. and then some. i'm here to stay. check my 'hot list' on the left to get an idea about what i'm in love with, and what i might write about next. anyway girlies, i'm actually going shopping in a few hours. who knows what new things i'll find. i'll be sure to let you know. until then, if you're not quite on a break yet, like me, toss on your fav bikini, slather on some spf, and crack open those books...outside. nothing beats studying out in the sunshine. that's what i'll be doing. later alligators. xo
